2-Part Learning Series - Literacy in the Science Classroom. Grades 3-12. 8/26 & 10/23/2019 August 26, 2019 Part 1 of a 2 part series. Participants will engage in a variety of literacy strategies (close reading, selecting the right text for students, engaging in productive discussions, etc.) to be used within the science classroom. 3-Part Learning Series for Social Studies Educators. 8/29, 10/8 & 12/12/2019 August 29, 2019 Part 1 of a 3 part series. 4-Part English Language Arts Carde. 9/10, 10/15, 11/14/2019 & 1/16/2020. September 10, 2019 Part 1 of a 4 part series. Over the course of 4 days, participants will spend time networking, learning and practicing best reading and writing strategies to make adjustments to current units of study and create congruent to the standards assessments. This learning series asks teachers to implement learning within the classroom and ultimately collect and analyze student data. Coaching Strategies September 17, 2019 Regardless of the position, educators can serve as coaches or mentors for other educators.
