Job Title: Student Success Coach
Job Summary: To perform the job successfuly, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed represent the knowledge, skills, and ablities required:
Ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, colleagues, and school districts
Excellent communmication, organization, and case management skills
Advocacy skills, including the ability to negotiate, compromise, and confront conflict, including crisis managment
Willingness to persist with students, despite their behavior and decision-making
Ability to create safe and welcoming social-emotional learning environments
Passion for serving at-risk and underserved youth
Abiity to foster strength-based educational programming
Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services (social work, education, etc)
Eligible for Professional Educator License (PEL)
Experience with at-risk youth preferred
Familiarity with school district and available community resources
Responsibilities: Key performance responsibilities include:
Case management of approximately 32 students
Ensure that ALOP procedures are implemented with fidelity
Prepare and facilitate in-person check-ins with students
Work as a liaison between family and school to create and implement a plan for student success
Provide ongoing support in areas of academic, social-emotional development, and other identified areas of need
Work collaboratively with schools and programs to define and outline the role of school staff in improving student participation, performance, and success for individual students
Proactively communicate with parents/guardians in order to support student growth
Participates in the planning of transportation for students to and from school, as necessary
Serves as ALOP program ambassador at staff/school meetings when availability allows
Monitors attendance, behavior, and grades of students on the case load
Responds and intervenes in student crises in accordance with school policy
Facilitate SEL sessions with staff and/or students if deemed necessary
Provide transitional support in career and post-secondary exploration
Terms of
Employment 10 1/2 month contract with a $45,000 salary plus benefits for the 2026-27 year
